THREE CARD POKER GAMING GUIDE

THREE CARD POKER
Three Card Poker® is designed to offer a player an opportunity to enjoy an exciting poker game which is fun, fast paced, and easy to learn. Each player and the dealer receive three cards with which to make the highest poker hand they can. Players may bet against the dealer or bet on the value of their own three-card hand or both. If betting only the Pair Plus, the wager must meet the table minimum. An “Ante Bonus” shall be paid if a player is dealt one of the three highest ranking hands in the game and has made an Ante wager. The Ante Bonus is paid regardless of the dealer’s hand. The Six Card Bonus is an optional wager playing against a pay table and is not affected by a player’s main wager outcome. All wagers must be made in increments of $5.
WAGERS
- Bet on the Ante to play against the dealer.
- Bet the Pair Plus Wager to play against the posted payout chart of a pair or better.
- Bet the Ante and the Pair Plus to play both against the dealer and the posted payout chart.
- Bet on the 6 Card Bonus to combine the player’s 3 cards with the dealer’s 3 cards to play against a posted payout chart. Must have an Ante or Pair Plus wager to bet the 6 Card Bonus.
- Bet the Play Wager when the Ante bet has been made and, if after reviewing the 3 card hand, to continue in the game. Otherwise, the hand folds. The 6 Card Bonus remains in play if wagered.
If the Three Card Poker table offers the optional Multi Link Progressive Jackpot, players may wager $5 on this bet after placing an Ante or Pair Plus wager. See details at the table and on the separate guide for the Multi Link Progressive.
HAND RANKINGS
The ranking of hands in Three Card Poker differs from traditional poker hands. In Three Card Poker, a straight beats a flush and a three of a kind beats a straight. An Ace is always high except in 3-2-A sequence. When comparing two hands that are of identical poker hand rank, the hand that contains the highest-ranking card shall be considered the highest-ranking hand.
The dealer must have Queen High or better to qualify and continue the round.
HOW TO PLAY
After making the Ante wager, Pair Plus wager or Ante and Pair Plus wager, along with any optional bonus wagers offered, each player and the dealer are dealt 3 cards. Players with an Ante or Ante and Pair Plus will then either: Fold and forfeit their Ante or place a Play bet equal to their Ante to stay in the game. After all players have taken action on their hands, the dealer reveals their three cards. If the dealer does not qualify, the Ante pays 1 to 1 and the Play wager is a push. If the dealer qualifies and the player beats the dealer, the Ante and Play wagers are paid 1 to 1. If the dealer qualifies and the player ties the dealer, the Ante and Play wagers are a push. If the dealer qualifies and beats the player, the Ante and Play wagers lose. The Ante Bonus, Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus wagers are paid or taken according to the posted payout chart.
